About us

Who Are We?

One Citizen Network for Democracy (OCND) is a legally registered youth-led non-governmental organization with Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC), founded in 2021 with its headquarters in Juba – South Sudan. The organization’s work and programs are not for profit but for the benefit of the communities in South Sudan.

We abide by the National Non-governmental Act, as a legal framework shaping the work of organizations in South Sudan. It honors the labor law that regulates the employment procedures and standards in the country. We are also following the legal standards binding international non-governmental organizations' operations. Our organization does not condone any act of human rights violation or abuse regardless of the perpetrators. We are against any form of discrimination based on race, culture, or religion. We act strictly against sexual exploitation, assault, and predatory behavior that lures us to such acts in our working environment. We believe in professionalism, team spirit, accountability, and transparency in serving our communities. And any act that infringes our working standards, and the legal regimes regulating our operation is not tolerated.

    OCND demands swift investigation into Killings in Wonduruba and Tonj North County

    As the One Citizen Network for Democracy, we explicitly condemn this brutal and inhumane act. Under no circumstances should civilians be subjected to such horror and extrajudicial killings, which violate both national and international laws.
